Thank you for your patience during our shut down. We are writing to advise you that we will resume office operations on June 1st, 2020.
As you may be aware the filing deadline for year 2019 has been extended to July 15, 2020. In addition, 2020 estimated tax payments for April 15, 2020 and June 15, 2020 have been extended until July 15th, 2020.
That being said, we encourage clients who have not yet submitted their documents to please do so before June 15, 2020. Those of you who have already submitted your documents, please be advised that they have been placed in queue according to date of submission and will be dealt with accordingly.
WAYS TO SUBMIT YOUR DOCUMENTS
Via mail: If you are mailing using Priority with Tracking, UPS, Overnight Service with US Post Office or Fedex,please do not request a signature at delivery.
Via Secure Email: You can utilize your own account at Siftsort, email via email@example.com or use your own secure email. We ask that you email us to inform us you have sent your documents electronically.
Via Fax: our fax number is 212-661-1970. Again, please let us know that you have submitted documents via fax.
Drop Off: You can drop off information anytime via our mail slot at front door or between 9:00am and 5:00pm at the front desk. We are adhering to CDC guidelines and ask that you do not come into our office unless you are wearing a face mask.
Please make sure that you keep a copy of all documents which you are submitting to us.
PROCEDURES FOR RETURNS
In order to respect the safety of our staff and clients, we are not taking any in-house appointments at this time. In lieu of in-house appointments, we will be setting up phone appointments. If you choose to have a telephone appointment, please indicate so when submitting your documents. We will reach out to you to set up a phone appointment once we have the opportunity to input the information. If you do not require a phone appointment, we will reach out to you via email or phone if we need additional information or clarifications of any items submitted. As we have during our shut down, we will continue to be available via phone and email. In addition to requesting a phone appointment, please indicate in your documents an email address and contact phone number. Once the return is complete, please advise us if you want electronic copy only, paper copy mailed (indicating mailing address if you are not at the address we have on file) or a combination of electronic copy and paper copy mailed.
